S-1 'America' reverse. One of the Nation's earliest and coolest types is the Chain Cent of 1793, with a mintage of 36,103 or just about half of the Wreath Cent of the same year. This coin had a very high relief, most were easily worn, while this coin is a wonderful example with excellent color and surfaces. There are six cash in single row on either side of the main channel. Heavy patination. Coin size 2.5 cm diameter.
