The scarcest and most difficult of all small gold certificates is the $500 which only has 121 examples reported in all grades. This example seems like a textbook AU with excellent centering and great color. Earlier this year a 58 realized $28,800, a 64 realized $114,000 and a 65 realized $216,000. Lovely 30's received over $14,000. PMG notes minor repairs on this premium note.
