This is one of the rarities from the Davenport Bank hoard. This note does not appear in the census and records show 13 other examples with the finest being a PCGS VF35. The sale in 2023 was a PMG VF 25 with restoration that brought $168,000 and four years ago a Fine 12 Net brought $78,000. This note has never had a bath, it is "as found". There is a slightly rounded bottom left corner with some dirt on the back and a couple of tiny splits but great seal color. This is an amazing chance to get a previously unreported pedigreed rarity. There were once five of these sewed into a men's suit coat long ago and four needed corner restoration and one is the best known for the type. These have nearly always brought over 100k for the last 20 years.
